cuisine after the orchestra performance

   1/2 night was our orchestra performance. I , was very busy during the day. I had to perform  on stage which include three kind of different  catogories. They were Piano trio, String qouetet and  orchestra. Well, i will explain what is the difference among these three. First of all , Piano Trio, it is a small band which is made up of piano, violin and cello. As a musicians perspective, the songs written for a trio might put an emphasize on the piano because piano can produce a wide range of sounds. In other words, the person who play the piano must me talented and skillful enough so that they can handle the compliated songs written to them. As for the violin and cello, though sometimes they are the main character in the song, but the propotion was far behind piano. That night, my mates and I prepared for the song smetana op 32 , I played the piano and two senior sisters played the violin and cello , we work for a long time and at last we did pretty well on stage and won lots of applause. Well done!!

   The second one is the string qouetet , that is made up of four people including two violins, a viola and a cello. It is simple form of the orchestra which each part have only one person. Each part can be a main character but most of the songs put the first violin in a bigger propotion . We play the Dovorak American movement which was a famous piece among the song made for quoetet. I played the violin with an old friend of mine playing the first violin with two seniors playing  the viola and cello. Well , it was successful, because we all have experience.    

    The last was the orchestra. As everyone knew, it is larger and many people participated in it. I played the violin with lots of people playing others. We played a lot of songs. I have to say it was surely fantastic!! We all enjoy the night, hope we can arrange this again next semester.
   After that we went to eat the tapanyaki which is delicious, hope i can eat it all the time.

sweet dish after the visit in TMUE

   Last tuesday I went to the Taipei Municipal University of Education to visit my two friends who they have a cheer leading competition. They both attend in different majors which are English and Computer Science. They started at 12:00 in the afternoon, however, I was too busy in NCCU so I was late for half an hour. When I rushed in to their stadium where they held the competition, though I still saw lots of people performing on the stage, but I had missed the performance which the English major provided. With my English major friend complaining,I starred at the performers on stage and found a familiar looking person, it was my friend in Computer Science!!!! I cheered for him and forgot that someone was blamming me behind.....Later, she stopped complaining and walked away. I noticed that I was wrong,so  I said that I will treat her to a nice restaurant for a compensation after my friend ended their show. Therefore, after the show  we went to a luxury restauant to chat.   

Here we are in the Rose house tea house, they are famous for its great tea and cakes and cookies(yummy!!!!) We ordered one set which is for three people to share. To me the food is fantastic, the cookies were crispy and smells wonderful espicially they baked it first before they served it it you. I t was surely tasty when the cookie is hot!!!! The cake was also luring, it looks delicate from the outside, and if you take a bite the flavor of the cake will burst in your mouth, sospecial and so delicious!!. Well, the drinks are all nice no matter they are cold or hot, depends on what you like~~

     The pictures below are what we ordered and the branch restaurant we went to.One  thing I have to say is, It is not that expensive at all. We got the bill and  Only cost us  350 per person!!! Great isnt it?? Next time i think all  of you to pay a visit>< 

depresion~~relief

   Last night i did something that was really stimulating and excited to me. I confessed to a girl that i deeply fall in love with. We have known each other for six years since junior high school and attend the same university.Therefore, our relationship has getting more intense recently. I think we both really matched up pretty well. With my senior brothers encouragement and the aspire of getting a girlfriend, I took heart and spoke up what i thought on the facebook. Everything did well until she suddenly change her mind which i didnt know why......

  Yes, indeed, I was turned dowm by her. I was really sad about this. Due to  I thought we could be a good pair,however,maybe the good time to confess had passed, so I lost a great opportunity thus remain single in christmas!!!! Jesus how come????  during the depression, I  did nothing but took out WHISKY in the cupboard and drank "a glass". Truly tasty all my god!!My throat and stomach were burning like a fire leaving my brain stuck. The only thing i can think of was"CHEERS FOR SINGLE!!!"  I can only remember i put whisky back to the cupboard...............

   In the morning, i found myself sleeping in the kithen floor.........i thought~~wine~~~TASTY!!!

 



Everybody knows that starbucks coffee has one of the highest price coffee in the world. To discuss, what makes it so special? Why can it maintain such a high price during recession? As a student who is attending courses in the department of commerce, I am willing to analyze this trend to you.

To begin with, starbucks always gives people a clean and ancient style of decoration from its outward appearance, which makes people feel it is the right place to drink a cup of coffee. When you are lured into the coffee shop, a intense smell of coffee rushes into your nose, meanwhile, you can see the clerks are busy making coffee for customers. While they hear the bell on the door they will look at you and say "welcome" sincerely as if you were their boss. When you walk straight to the ordering desk, you can see various kinds of coffee and beverages and snacks on the menu, every coffee has its own special flavor, and the beverages, called as Frappies, are milkshakes and smoothies made of coffee and coffee-related ingredients, which offer you the opportunity to choose the ones you like. After you pay the unbelievable high price, you will search for a seat to wait. The sight first appear may be several customers sitting in a wooden chair chatting joyfully with jazz music playing in the shop. Soon you will feel relaxed, and will start to apprecieate their pictures and decorations inside. When you recived your coffee, you can add more milk or coco powder as much as you like. Sitting in your sooden chair or youcan pick a sofa instead, it will be a relaxing and comfortable times there. In the last, enjoy your coffee!!

I think that the reason that people in taiwan love starbucks alot is due to the price of the coffee is expensive, because when you have a starbucks on hand most of the people will consider you as rich, I think the coffee there is as same as the one you buy in the convient store. It is just that starbucks makes the coffee looks elegant and delicious to drink. Starbucks will seldom have a "buy one get one free" discount, and during the day lots of people will gather to buy coffee. It doesnt mean that they all love starbucks coffee, its just because it is cheap!!!While in the end, I just want to say you like it you drink it , if not, then dont!!

 

innovative cuisines at night market

  This weekend our teacher took us to i-lan as a education trip. In the early morning i woke up and headed to NCCU at 7:30, after our teacher finished roll calling, we went on the tour bus and began our trip.  The first stop we arrived at i-lans Ti-Pin mountain with one of the most signifacant and spectacular views in taiwan. We took a walk in the forests, with pine trees and China Firs surrounding while sunlights pured into the woods, I felt like I was in heaven!!I breath clear air and let the comfortable breeze soaked into my skin down to my heart. It sure was fantastic !!

Then we went through the woods,another marvelous sight came into me.It was a giant lake surrounded by green mountains!As i took a closer look while approaching the lake, I was stunned by the view i saw, how could a lake be so limpid and the color of the water was crystal blue! By the way, I saw fishes swimming in the lake and waterweeds swinging and swaying with the water flow. Truly, it was great. With the intriguing scene on the spot i started to think :"How i wish i could stay here for the rest of my life, it is so freedom and relaxed. Everyday i could have mother nature as my companion, that would be wonderful!!" We stayed there for a while then we kept on moving.    

Time flies, it was 4:30, we jumped on the bus and we headed to our favorite places~LouTon night market. After a 1 and half hour from the mountains, we arrived at the night market and we were all exciting to get down the bus and search for delicious foods to eat. Well, i did eat alot, and most of them we could taste it in Taipei,  but there wes one thing that i felt surprised, the big fried chicken!!You can see on the picture that there were lots of people staying in line to get a taste of it. Appealed by the people lining there, i also participated to line-up and got one to try.Oh.....my!!The fried chicken was bigger than my face~~In addition, they offered sereval sauce to let you choose to dip inside the fried chicken. I chose the Thai Sweet and Sour Sauce. When i took the first bite, the smell and the meat juice came into my mouth that i could barely bear. It was so delicious that i wanted to take another bite. Though it was big in size, but i ate it all !!after that, i could only say one word :"splendid!!"  

 At last ,we gathered about7:30 in the night and we all bought something delicious. Then we went back to taipei and ended the wonderful trip. We all appreciated our teacher and hoping to have another trip in the future.

    This time I went to a restauarant called Dazzling with my friends who we knew each other in the orientation in NCCU .We travel almost an hour from school and we all suffer from starving due to not eating anything for seven hours . Then , when we found the restaurant inside the department store,  we sat down quickly to order. After we finished ordering, we started to chat for everything from the credits each of us got and which class was good because the teacher wont roll call and which teachers were  worse because they give good grades only for the people who really work hard but flunk the rest of the students. afterwards, the girls then begin the topic of who is single, surprisingly, girls seemed to be more open then guys, I didint think it is common while other guys acted normal. Time flies, soon the meal was serve for everyone and we all dug in  .

Mine meal was a sandwhich with with beaf and cheese inside, with the mustard sauce

dipped in the sandwhich and the well-baked bread and juicy vegetables was OH MY........TASTY!!

Right on the right side was a iced latte with cream and cinnamon on top. Sucking the latte with the straw was surely relaxing and enjoyable while sweetness burst into my mouth. I  loved that feeling to my deepest heart!!While we were eating, the girls kept on holding on the topic which emphasizes on relationships. To put simply, they seemed to gossiped and expressed their feelings.Like which guy is handsome but he was a two timer or which girl was a lover of someone who has a girlfriend, and even disgussed about being experienced as a third wheel. Well we boys though pretended to be a good listener, but we were all thinking the same question, "What the hell are those situations going to affect me?" I meant that it was not important to us~~For a while, we did change another topic to chat and we surely have fun!  

After we finish, and we were about to leave. We looked at the price at the bill, whow!!That was expensive, we just ordered a few things but we had to pay 480 at least for each of us!! Well ,during that period, I felt like screaming!!~~In the end, i had to make a conclusion:"MEALS ARE GREAT, BUT LOOK AT THE PRICE FIRST!!" Sharing this to everybody. 

Tasty or not?

This monday i went to this restaurant with my friends .After we left NCCU which is called the "food desert" ,we get to zhongxiao-fuxing ,where the place full of well-designed cloth and delicious cuisines . We wandered through the streets , chosing which kind of restaurant  we shall dined in .At last , due to the girls dont want to eat greasy stuffs so we were pulled into a restaurant with organic and healthy food . All of the boys inside ,were shocked after we see the menu ,there are some red signs on the top of each page "NO MEAT INCLUDED" ,that was such  a big tragedy that we could not bear .However ,the girls seemed happy about the cuisines  showed in the menu as they laughed and chatted joyfully . Soon , we all ordered our meals and the soup and salad were served  later we ordered . Well  ,the salad was trully  "healthy" i guessed......it was full of  vegetables and fruits , and the sauce which was in the plate was absolutely strange .It was     different from the normal sauce we were given at the western restaurant , it is a bit sweet ,and also a bit sour ,which they say it  was    made  from Kiwi and Fig .Well , be honest to say that we boys surely have a rough time during the period while the girls said it was brilliant. In  the picture we can  see the salad and some bread near the left . Oh , and the bread and other things  are just normal , and of   course we boys hated all of them! The meal there was expensive and did not satisfy our expextations .While the girls kept on saying that they might come to this restaurant the other day , well ,that   is the difference between the two genders i guess~Though we boys complained alot ,  we  sure had a wonderful time chatting with girls and the atmosphere there was great , and the  equipments there were also elegant . Its just......we were not accustomed to a meal with no meat!!Maybe this  is anothere lesson in college~~
